Has anyone tried this for RLS? If so, where did you place the pads and how much did it help?

Curious about using the tens unit
Never worked for me.
I do find the percussion massage pistol type, work well.
Can vary the strength and move up and down the legs.
Didn't work at all for me, but it works *GREAT* for alleviating leg cramps.
I found it was great for the morning after if my legs were aching from the night before.
Haven’t tried them at night as found a good medication regime just after I got it.
Did not work for me. I tried it in various ways, on one leg and both legs (even on my bald head which gave me a headache and I do not recommend, but I was desperate). I gradually increased the intensity to the maximum, but it never worked to alleviate the RLS symptoms. It was another disappointment, among many.
I use a tens unit on bad days. It helps me, but not as a stand-alone treatment; it's most useful as a supplemental treatment when I've not taken my medication on time and start to develop RLS symptoms. My routine is 15 minutes, both legs at the same time, with pads on each side of the leg below the kneecap. If that's not enough, I do another 15 minutes above the knees. Tens units can be inexpensive so it's worth a try.
Hi ,see my posts to find trigger points and what I do about them .
