Can you mix liquid iron and magnesium together in juice?

Can you mix liquid iron and magnesium powder in orange juice together? Unsure if mixing them lessens there affect.

Taking magnesium at the same time as almost anything is rumoured to prevent the absorption of the the other substance. This is primarily as magnesium reduces stomach acidity,

Low stomach acidity can interfere with iron absorption e.g. it's known that medicines which reduce acid such as proton pump inhibitors can prevent iron being absorbed.

There appears to be contradictory information about this, but it's probably better to take magnesium and other substances separately.
