RLS Subsides!

I posted about a month ago and mentioned that I was coming off of Citalopram but my RLS was getting worse. I was very foggy and felt my brain was not working properly. I did the worst thing you can ever do and quit cold turkey! DONT DO IT! it made me a little psychotic and and very agitated. I learned about Discontinuation Syndrome from a lovely person here in the forum. I was wondering what to do about the RLS because as I was coming off the antidepressant my RLS worsened. A few days after writing about this here, my brain fog began to lift and so did the RLS! I feel like I should shout this from the rooftops: I HAVE BEEN RLS FREE FOR 3 WEEKS! I am no longer taking Citalopram or Oxy at night. I feel like a case study! I posted this on my Facebook and others have had RLS after years of taking antidepressants. I feel blessed. I also am sympathetic to those who have no explanation of this horrible illness at all. I will say, find a doctor that will work with you. I would have never gotten off of Ropinerol over a year ago if he had not listened to my research and allowed me a small dose of Oxycodone nightly. I would just like to say thank you for the support here. I have praised this forum and have recommended it to others. You have all been so encouraging, full of incite, and knowledgeable. You were my go to for the truth about RLS!
