I find that spreading a topical cream for pain relief on my calves helps. Am I allowed to mention a brand name? I've only tried one.

I sometimes use Deep Freeze and i think thats the actual name of it and have mentioned it a few times on here, its what is use for sports aches and pains it has menthol in the ingredients and its the menthol that seems to work. Some have mentioned Tiger Balm. So its ONLY if someone is trying to sell a product that is not allowed. So go ahead and tell us what you have found which helps you.

I use Topricin, recommended by a friend for other aches and pains.

I do that too and it does work, mostly, for me too. Lately though, it seems that nothing was working, so, being lucky enough to live where I can legally get some "medicinal herbs" (in all it's forms), I have started adding a tincture to the cream - the relief is almost instantaneous and it gets me through the night!

I have used a peppermint oil and creates a icy hot sensation and give a little relief as well.

I use Icy Hot in the stick form. :) it does not get all over your hands, and believe me, you do not want that menthol to get in your eyes. :) We can mention brand names as long as no one is trying to sell anything. We talk about brand names all the time. :)
