Hi
I use Balneum cream + it works brilliantly so why not try it
Hi sara,
There are a few threads from you in the past months about Balneum cream and many replies to others to try it. Some members are purchasing it and reporting back they are finding it of no benefit at all which is really not that surprising.
This cream is prescribed for the treatment of itching and dry skin seen with eczema, dermatitis and scaling skin conditions. All of these worsen when the skin is allowed to become dry.
I am pleased that it works for you but perhaps your symptoms are not as severe as many who join this forum for help and advice.
Hello Kaarina
Hope you dont mind my asking & dont take it the wrong way Im just curious are you the administrator
My apologies for all the threads suggesting Balneum cream, & sorry if everyone has reported negatively -. yes I know its for the skin complaints you mentioned , but to be fair I suggested it because it was prescribed for me by my doctor when I first noticed my RLS a long time ago.
Yes it does work quite well for me -I tend to use it at night before going to bed or if im staying up late. I dont tend to use it during the day unless Im going to be out all day & a situation arises where Im going to be sat down all day .
Thanks for the reply

Hi sara, I do moderate this forum. No one has reported your postings.
Some members do find it helpful/soothing to massage cream on their legs when suffering with RL, but it does not necessarily have to be any specific type, probably just a cream they like to use. The simple act of massaging the legs (minus any cream) can sometimes help to alleviate some of the symptoms, at least for a short while.
Hi Kaarina and Sara, I was curious when I read about Balneum Cream helping RLS -even though the post was 8 months ago; and so did a bit of Googling of the ingredients. Then I Googled what conditions they were useful for. The urea search came up with this interesting point: 'Renal failure with uremia, especially those cases needing hemodialysis, also is commonly associated with RLS.[18] All patients with RLS should have blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels checked.' This info was from :Clinical Presentation and Diagnosis of Restless Legs Syndrome. the link is: medscape.org/viewarticle/50...
I have never heard about this cream before, and also not heard that one should have blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels checked so thought I would just raise this as another possibility for those with severe RL who are looking for answers. This may not be the answer, but at least ruling something out is just as helpful.
Hi Kaarina .Thanks for the confirmation . Ive submitted my complaint about the misleading title of the progamme hat was shown along with everyone else
Thanks again
Sara
