CBD Lotions
Husband and I have many and varied health issues, asthma, bronchiectasis, osteoporosis, glaucoma, epilepsy, COPD - the list is endless. I had heard a lot about CBD oil - the latest 'must have' drug. Got some from Holland & Barrett but read that theirs is too weak for anything, so got some from a private seller, a lot more expensive and stronger. Didn't help a thing, and two bottles and many pounds later we decided that, although not exactly a 'con' it is very selective in who may be helped by it. Have also read that the only thing it is proven to help is epilepsy. However my husband's epilepsy is well controlled so no change.
Worth a try, but an expensive experiment. Would be interested to hear other people's experiences.
I started using a CBD cream a week ago. It helps me almost instantly with symptoms in my thighs and biceps, but doesn’t last very long. The person I consulted said a combination of approaches works best for most people - so I also have a gel to rub on my gums, and an inhaled form that has more THC in it, which I only take at night. I was using an oil last week but it didn’t work very well for me. I just started this routine yesterday. While not yet perfect, it seems better than last week’s routine, and I think this is going to help a lot. I’m trying to get off Mirapex, slowly; yesterday I didn’t need any during the day; usually I’d take one (.5mg) about 4 or 5pm and then 3 more before bed. I took 2 about 12m.
Some people with RLS have found the CBD oil is miraculous; others, like me, report needing products that have THC (which you can’t get if you live in a state that hasn’t legalized Marijuana). The % and grams of the ingredients vary widely, so talk to someone who knows about RLS and experiment a little.
