Hi all. Not posted for a while but like most have good days and bad. Questions: Does anyone have any issues with Pregabalin taken with Magnesium the same as is found with Gabapentin and Magnesium? Also has anyone heard of and used NAC for rls and had an hauocystein blood test, again related to rls? My wife’s yoga teacher has low level rls and has mentioned both but I have not heard of either.
Am nearly off ropinerol now and on Gabapentin but my wife says my mood is terrible though not noticed myself.......but you never do, so need to find out about changing to pregabalin and I had to take this for a back injury about 5 years ago and my mood was much better than on Gabapentin: so any Pregabalin stories/issues would be appreciated.

Re NAC. I tried it for a while some 9 months ago, to help reduce the tired-but-wired status, but it didn’t do anything noticeable. I followed up on a suggestion by DicCarlson, but I think he discontinued it as well. If you type NAC and RLS in the search bar, you may locate a thread re this issue. It is labelled glutathione.
Tried NAC for ME not noticed any difference tbh.
Pregabalin is related to Gabapentin, It just blocks whatever it does at an earlier stage in the biochemical process. It made me put on weight and have poor balance. I think it did affect my mood and though it is also marketed as treatment of anxiety it seemed to make me over anxious, especially when there was something to be anxious about - it made me lose the sense of judgement and perspective around the issue. I don't take it now but it was good at low doses while it lasted.
