Has anyone else tried Holland & Barrett’s CBD oil and found it worsened RLS symptoms?
Thanks

It shouldn't make things worse if it is just CBD oil - does it say what all is in it?
In my humble opinion the full range of cannabinoids should be used - if you can get the real thing as it is much more effective.
Cheers...
I have tried it. At first it made me sleepy, but then if just made me nauseous. I put it on the shelf with all the other RLS meds that don't work for me.
Hi. I think it makes me sleepy and also helps my RLS. I feel more relaxed. I take H & B 2.5%
Cheers!
It made no difference to my RLS at all.
Good to know. Thank you for responding
It would appear it is the THC and not the CBD which helps RLS unfortunately. Most frustrating.
Definitely! Thanks for your thoughts.
Hi chirpyandcheerful...I have tried CBD oil for RLS and do not find that it made my RLS any worse...but it did not help either! It did, however, help with pain in body and joints. What I have tried was Green Roads 350 mg. as well as 1500 mg...I did not see any significant difference between the 350 mg and the 1500 mg. (The tricky part of these CBD products is the 350/1500 mg is per bottle so what you actually get per ounce is much less). I now suspect, after reading more about CBD, is that I would need the CBD that also contains THC and that is not legal in Florida where I live. The CBD product has really taken off and there are SO MANY different companies and variations. It did help me have a feeling of "well being" which was a pleasant change from prescriptions drugs but I am going to lay off it for a while and do more research! Hope this helps, Linda
Maybe it would help our knee pain. One question. Does the CHD oil without the THC give a positive drug test? Important to know, I think. I know my ER does drug tests when they have the smallest suspicion and they don't tell you first. I found out by accident. My records are all in one place online at my hospital. Never had any probs with drugs rarely ask for them . And one doc walked in when I had gone to the ER for a-fib sx and told me my lab results. He added 'And your drug test was negative." I was floored. I don't want anything on my record that would make being taken seriously any more difficult than it already often is. Esp now in the States where anything addiction/drug related is a big political ticket item. "Nough said."
Yes, legality issues make this situation tricky. Thanks for your response
I tried TBD oil capsules once but got severe acid reflux so they're no good for me. I think you need the HTC for it to be effective but it's illegal in the UK. However, my son takes it for his RLS anyway and says it really helps.
Right. Interesting. I'm glad your son has had relief... Thanks for sharing.
Hi, it definitely made my RLS worse, which was a great disappointment as I was really hoping it would help, or if no effect with my legs, help me sleep. I only managed about 2 full days before having to give it up.
Same this end. A few days later and it had to ditched ...
I'm currently coming off clonazepam after many years taking it by changing to diazepam and decreasing my intake every two weeks. Eventually I want off all meds and I'm hoping cbd oil will work. So I've bought the Holland and Barrett one to help with the withdrawal of coming off the meds and its working. My legs haven't twitched since changing to diazepam and kinda wish I started with this instead of the clonazepam but just went with doctors orders. I'm now only on 6mg of Diazepam which is the smallest amount of meds I've been on since I started this cruel process and I'm doing really well and believe the oil is having a positive effect. Once I'm fully off diazepam which will be med free I'll continue with the oil hoping it helps
Cheers! Good luck!
I tried it orally once. NEVER again. I felt awful and lay awake with weird thoughts. I just discovered that it works topically. I feel stupid for trying it by ingesting it. No, I would never smoke it.
