Hi Jan.

I have no experience with this drug personally, but it's actions indicate that it could very well affect RLS in some way.

It's a tricyclic antidepressant and other similar drugs are well known to cause RLS.

thanks nathan i do know it is an Ssri so prob not good either me thinks i have a big job ahead of me 😠

What was the reason for the question Jan? Are you looking to find an anti-depressant which is suitable for RLS sufferers?

If so many recommend Trazodone/Desyrel/Molipaxin, you could discuss this one with your doctor if you think it would be suitable for you.

reason is i am taking it just one and when i get off amytryptanol and sifrol ill be left with that one and my doc is thinking to add another one later

I think it could definitely be a cause of your RLS based on it's profile.

I hope you can find something that cures your issues without causing RLS as a side effect!

I told my Doc about the safe meds antidepressants that are listed on the forum but they are not available in australia does anyone know safe ones here?
