New insurance companies policy on pain meds.

I have tried everything over the yrs. and nothing works better than hydrocodone 10/325 About every 4-6 hours. Been on it for 10-15 yrs. under the care of the same doctor. First the insurance company eliminated refills. Now they will only fill a 7 day supply. My doctor refuses to write me a script every week. I am going to try and fill a 30 day supply at Costco without using insurance. If that doesn't work I fear the worst. Any suggestions?

He is in San Diego , I think. Sleep clinic.

Anyway- worth checking that site- they may be able to put you in touch with a knowledgeable Dr.

Its getting harder and harder across the pond to get the pain meds which work for RLS. The powers that be, have no idea what they are doing to those who have no choice but to take them. I hope you work out the best way forward for you.

Well the good news is my pharmacy says they will fill my 30 day supply off my script if I want to pay cash. Bad news is it will cost 107.00. I think Costco will be 1/2 that going forward.
