aching, burning feet
Sounds more like Neuropothy to me oldblue, are you diabetic?
Hi oldblue, do you have diabetes? My husband IS diabetic and he has neuropathy in his feet, no feeling at all and lots of burning pain. I really don't think it has anything to do with RLS. The initials stand for RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME , not pain. Better check for other possibilities. Johanna
I never experienced this. I would suggest that you see your doctor if the symptoms persist
thanks birdmeister, i'am going to my nuerologist next wed. seems like my last visit ( six mos. ago he asked me if had experienced this. man last night i went to the bathroom and dosed off on the john and fell head on to the dresser. then i went to the kitchen and was standing up eating a snack, dosed off again and hit the kitchen sink with the back of my head. it hurt////. up until april of this year i had stayed in bed 2 and 1/2 yrs. depression. i would do this quite often. people that has ever had rls dosen't believe a person does not get a wink of sleep for 24 hrs. and i mean wide awake of this time. i think my wife was right this morn. when she said my body is worn out. thanks again oldblue
Yes that is one of the worrisome things caused by RLS. You can name a dozen things and someone with RLS will have trouble with it.
Rather strangely I have been troubled for the last couple of weeks with a painful heel. It doesn't hurt to touch and the pain largely disappears when I stand. I started taking tramadol a week ago and even the tramadol won't curb that pain. I have a lot of pain in my calves and thighs but the tramadol has got these under control. It has also stopped my evening overwhelming urge to stand up! So far so good!
peripheral neuropathy can be caused by other things besides being a diabetic. Cemo can cause it, alcohol, an accident etc.
I've always had hot feet - not sure whether it's related to my RLS or something else......
Aching and burning that sounds like RSD (REFLEX SYMPATHIC DYSTROPHY) check with your doctor..I have this and that's what it sounds like. Good luck
I sometimes have severe Burning and pain in my feet. However I have Neuropathy with my MS.
can someone tell me if chocolate can cause my feet to burn and ache so bad? I've been putting chocolate syrup on my ice cream and my feet are killing me.
