Buprenorphine Tablets

Regarding the request about knowledge of Buprenorphine tablets in India, I cannot help with that since I’m in the USA; however, I have two or three years of experience with Buprenorphine pain patches in the strengths of 5 mcg and 7.5 mcg per hour. Unfortunately, I have not found it useful in reducing the symptoms of restless legs. I take Mirapex (Pramipexole) for that with good success.

Interesting Pepper. Have you tried doing without the prami and awaited for the increased symptoms to settle? And have you tried a slightly higher dose of bup? I know of several people on bup patches that need 15mcg/h dosing. If less than that, their symptoms still persisted.

Also, you may be one of the few people we know of that simply cannot get rid of that last dose of prami and keep taking it with fair effects. As long as it helps and doesn't make things worse.

Thanks for your reply, LotteM. I have tried doing without the pramipexole, sometimes successfully, other times not. I take buprenorphine for arthritis pain so I’m trying to get by with the lowest does possible to control the pain.

Hi Pepper - I am on 15 mcg buprenorphine pain patches and get good coverage for RLS. Any lower than this was not effective. Good Wishes

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. Is there a concern about Pramipexole at a very low does?

I found that 200mcg Temgesic stopped my RLS in its tracks for about 4 months and then it gradually wore off. I stopped taking it 3 weeks ago and am now back on a 200mcg tablet for the last 2 nights. Unfortunately it does not seem to be working as it did. I thought that it would have been flushed out of my system by now and that restarting would have had the same effect as it initially did. But nooooo! 😱

Temgesic is a minuscule dose Micro dose

It is likely you need to increase it, it has a shorter half life to Subutex version of buprenorphine. Some people take up to 5 Temgesic.
