Interesting reading Rahim, it fits with the treatment I've had to date, Amitriptyline till it didn't work and two days ago I was given Gabapentin with Tramadol which gave me a great night after the first dose but last night was awful as usual. Yet to build up to the full prescribed dose 3x 300mg a day though and I didn't take any Tramadol last night either. Anyway, thanks for sharing that info.

You welcome dollis, it looks like a wild horse, any time he likes, he kicks :(

I also read about an antidepressant called Cymbalta which has a great effect for some sufferers. I hope we all sleet well all nights.

Dont forget we have to be aware that drugs like Amitriptyline and Cymbalta can make RLS go nuts.

Dollis, the Gabapentin has to build up in your system before you feel any benefit, its not an instant med. So by not taking the Tramadol is probably why you had a bad night. :(
