Vortioxetine however it is on RLS-UK's not safe for RLS yet some find it is OK and also the buprenorphine might override it if it would otherwise make RLS worse.

Taking Trazadone and Buprenorphine increases risk of Seratonin Syndrome

Thank you. I have made a note of that. Unfortunately that also applies to methadone and tramadol.

I take a supplement called 5htp its the best antidepressant i have ever used and I have been on a few. It doesnt seem to affect my restless legs but sue might know if it can make thinsg worse in some people.

To help for sleeping I can recommend Tryptophan instead of 5htp. But both work way weaker than trazodone. You can try it but should consider Wellbutrin as antidepressant during the day.

I have suffered severe depression for years as a result of rls.I have tried all types of antidepressants with some working for a short while.

Interestingly, since I have been on Buprenorphine (0.6), for the past six months, my depression has lifted and I finally feel normal after many many years and many many different medications - special thanks to Sue and Jools and this wonder site.

Hi, I am on venlafaxine and with buprenorphine have no symptoms of either RLS or depression which I had before starting on the anti-depressant. I'm on 75mg.

I hope you can find something that works and doesn't cause symptoms. In my expereince, once the RLS are controlled effectively by a medication, there can be a lot more leeway with what other medication can be taken. However, like all things RLS connected, every person is different. Good luck.
