I am not surprised. As ME is caused by a viral disease that attacks the brain. The brain cant produce the energy to produce enough oxygenated blood to all the organs. Any more than taking it very easy indeed will cause the body to be put under strain, severe strain. And this causes us to react totally exhausted, often needing to lie down and recover, often taking vast periods of time.
