A proportion of the test group have seen lasting improvement, so not a cure all but B cell depletion has some promise. How large a proportion are of the phenotype which responds is still in the ongoing research newscientist.com/article/dn...

Phase 2 trials began in May 2015 clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show... with an end date of November 2016

What intrigued me most was New Scientist as followers of the psychosomatic doctrine newscientist.com/article/mg... could write about bio medical research having success.

Fluge and Mella research has previously brought an apology from the Norwegian government over the treatment of ME/CFS a change of opinion at New Scientist given previous history newscientist.com/search?que... an indication of change or anomaly only time will tell.

Share concerns over Rituximab (Cyclophosphamide) a chemotherapy drug requires careful targeting of those that respond favourably given possible effects.

Full circle a virus (Epstein Barr) immune / auto immune as a cause . "It's déjà vu all over again" as the man said seen this come and go.

Most recent report from the IOM considers mononucleosis associated with glandular fever another viral link worthy of research.

Incline Village - Lake Tahoe linked with EBV since that time many others have been considered without establishing as primary causation or opportunistic secondary infection of a weakened immune system.

Two thirds have some recovery is hopeful.

Next hope is we are among the two thirds because the medical community must finally take the condition seriously for that group.

An infection may trigger the body to produce antibodies that then turn against a person's own tissues, he says. His team suspect that these antibodies may stop blood from circulating properly, preventing people from getting enough oxygen, explaining their extreme fatigue

Getting breathless and fast heart beat a blood not circulating properly

Ian123 in reply toDunnlyn

Blood volume reduction has a long association with this disease which is well documented in research articles an infection is only one of the explanations under consideration.
