Hello and welcome to quit support :) ,

If you have tried quitting before , it isnt always the same when you try again. Its very early days yet. Hopefully you have the right attitude to quitting and your brain is accepting the new routine of not smoking. After 3 days the nicotine will have left your blood stream and you are then only coping with getting rid of the harmful toxins from tobacco.

Make sure you drink plenty of water and do some deep breathing exercises to help your lungs get clear of toxins.

Do have a read through the pinned post for information on how to help you quit. (These are found to the right or bottom of this page.)

I will assign you a progress badge and add you to our wall of winners.

Look forward to supporting you. :) XXX

Hi cashchick, well done for your decision to quit and your 24 smoke free hours.

Welcome to Quit Support.💙

We are all different and every time we quit is different. Not everyone has uncontrollable cravings or unheard of withdrawal symptoms.

Just take it a day at a time .

Remember to drink lots of water 💧💦to flush out the toxins and keep yourself hydrated.

As jillygirl suggests read the pinned posts📌 as information is power.💪

If you need anymore help or even just a shoulder to lean on please don't hesitate to ask. There is always someone here.

Good luck with your quit.🍀🚭xx

Hi jpenashue and welcome to Quit Support.

Yes it’s much harder to quit when you live with a smoker unfortunately. My hubby smokes so I understand how difficult it can be.

You don’t say how long you’re using the patches but please take your time to wean yourself off them.

We look forward to supporting you on your journey👍xx
