Quick mist withdrawals

Hello everyone, I smoked from 17 till I was 40, then I hit the vape trying to quit but found them to be horrendous so gave that up after a year, I started smoking again until 6 months ago when i tried the quick mist, not had a cigarette since.

About 2 weeks ago I started to get head aches and tooth ache, after a trip to the doctors he suggested I'd been using the quick mist to long and that was what was causing the headaches, I instantly stopped using it and the head aches have gone away.

I find myself to be irritable and on edge, is this because I cold Turkey the quick mist ????

How long will this last ????

Has anyone gave up the quick mist and been suffering because of it ???

Hi Craig001, congratulations for your 6 smoke free months.

Welcome to Quit Support.

I'm afraid that I personally have never used quick mist, but watch this space as someone somewhere will be able to help.

If you could let us know the exact date of your quit we can assign you a winners badge and update our data base.

Good luck.🍀🚭

Hi Craig

The quick mist still contains nicotine which as you will know is the addictive element of smoking. By the sounds of it you had replaced cigs with quick mist and what you have now are the withdrawal symptoms, this is not unusual and it will go eventually, we can't say how long it will take as everyone is different.

Hi Craig, I have heard of some suffering with the same symptoms you described.

The ones I re- call were advised to either go cold turkey like yourself or use the patches or champix. No quit journey is the same so we cant give you a straight forward answer. Every individual copes differently.

Do read through the pinned posts, there are lots of tips there to help you.

Try changing your routine, and drink plenty of water. Deep breathing will also help clean your lungs. I wish you luck and look forward to seeing your quit journey progress. :) xx
