Well, maybe three if I include cod chips and mushy peas plus Eton mess at Harry Ramsdens.
It was a great day in Brighton, Cold though but worth it to see the sea again.

Sounds like a lovely day and I can only imagine what it was like to see the sea again
Lovely picture
Take Care x
You are right, there is something about the sea which is magical. I only live 45 minutes drive from Brighton and other lovely seaside towns but for some reason ‘life’ gets in the way. I’m determined to see more of my little country and next time my friend Beverly comes over we are going to Stonehenge.
Good for you , I am miles away from the sea and years since I have seen it but I remember how calming it can be
You are doing really well setting these goals and you will reach them , you have already started x
Its good to hear that you are getting out and about again Sue, you so deserve it, and yes I love the sea too. There is so much to see in this beautiful little country of ours, Cornwall is my favourite place. 😀👍🌞🌞 Xx
Cornwall is wild and beautiful.
In July we are going to the wild cat sanctuary near Ashford in your lovely county. Beginning of April it’s Covenant Garden for a matinee opera then a meal in one of the many restaurants. Lots of things planned. I would also like to take Beverly to my birth place in Derbyshire.
Hello Veteran250
I seem to have got your reply that was for Sue
Hope she see's it x
Hi lulu, if you have Google earth you could have an afternoon out by sitting in your armchair and going into the street views. It will take you anywhere. xx
That’s a really good idea Jilly (even though it was for lulu) I never think of going to Google earth. I am going to do that now to plan more trips
I found my brothers house in Tasmania with Google Earth, it is an amazing app, and costs you nothing. 😀
I’ve been listing places I want to see in the UK and I’ll get Beverly to love k
At them. It’s going to be a very full year especially if I factor in New Orleans with Beverly (who was born there) and Maine which is my personal favourite, rent a little cottage on the shore and pretend to be Jessica Fletcher.
Hi Sue, what a great pic and a great day by the sound of it too. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I’m a bit jealous you went to Harry Ramsdens without me though😂xx
Sounds brilliant!
A fish supper by the sea!!
I can't think of anything more perfect!! Xxx
I'm glad you had a good day Twinnie. Cod,chips and mushy peas. 😆 lol
I had friends for lunch so.......... yes I cooked. I also drank more than my share of a very good, local Chianti. Which mixed with a beautiful warm day, made me terribly 😪 sleepy.
Just recovering, XXX
I’ve just had a nap. Here in Surrey it has not stopped raining since the moment I woke up and together with the rain there are high wind gusts. Im better sleeping and dreaming of warm sunny places 🤪.
What did you cook for lunch? Did you save some for me? I’m m not worried about chianti as I’ll bring my own San Benedetto clementina.
Good 'coz the Chianti's gone. 😆 lol
I cooked" osso buco" no idea what it is in English. It's beef on a marrow bone, in veggie sauce. Takes 2 hours to cook. But worth it. There's still a couple left if you want to come round. XXX
In English? Well I know it as Osso Buco 🤪🤪🤪. I will just get Bella and Archie wrapped up in their little rainproof capes and galoshes and we are in the way.
Brilliant! 🏃 run between the drops. Afters is............ real Italian ice cream, from a real Italian ice cream parlour. Absolutely out of this world. Dark chocolate and cookie flavors. You can choose yours, of course. What's your favorite?
Plain vanilla for me and I really like sorbet. The four legged fiends don’t like anything classed as human food so I’ve parked some Dreamies for them.
