Hi all still got headache woke up today tight chest and sound hoarse do you think that perhaps I will start moving phlegm now after 8 months feels a bit mucky in back of throat.Anyone else had it this late thanx bonny

Its hard to say bonny, you might just be getting a sore throat. I never coughed at all as a smoker or after i quit

I picked up a cough in Mexico a couple days back and I'm like glolin.... Never coughed as a smoker or after.... So I'm kind of thinking along the same lines as you 🤔

I'm seeing my dr on Friday so I'll let you know what he says xx

Hi Bonny , never coughed as smoker or after, perhaps your getting a cold/ chest infection. we sometimes forget we will still get coughs and colds and not all is related to our quit. If still carrying on go and see GP you may need something to shift it xxx

Having a rubbish day to day done very little and not been out. But I did sleep much better last night so that's a bonus. Thank you all for your advice keeps me going xx

I would have thought you would have coughed up anything you had in your lungs by now, soo, I expect its a bit of a bug you have picked up eh

Hi monkey this is what I don't understand I smoked for 50years never had a cough when I stopped or had any phlegm. Where is all my lung muck I must have some to shift

i was the same ..got nothing and i smoked for 40 years and been quit almost 2 years now

Drink hot water with honey and lemon. Rub Vicks on your chest, this is the best remedy for a tight chest. Suck some lozengers and hope ya feel better soon🚭💐😊
