Oh what another tough weekπ, my withdrawal symptoms have not been to bad, but nowπ€π₯π€ sore throat, sore mouth, what is going on. After all this time I thought things would get easier, or am I just feeling sorry for myselfπ. Still on a positive note another week smoke freeπππππππππ. All I can say right now is BRING IT ON. Have a good day my lovelies xx
WEEK 12 DONEππππ: Oh what another tough... - Quit Support
WEEK 12 DONEππππ
Cimmy, I'm just flippin loooooving it gal 12 weeks Winner now then am doing my Monky bum wiggle dance for ya's
Thats the spirit Cimmy, BRING IT ON mr flippin nic am just loving it gal yeahhh, you fight him
As for your sore throat and mouth, this is quite normal, if you think about it, you've been smoking through your mouth and throat for some time eh ermm, am not sure about your throat, but your mouth and gums sort of build a crust up to deal with the smoke and nicotine and when we quit smoking, they dont need this crust any more, so they shed it, this means that your mouth and gums have a sort of baby layer of tissue to which it has to harden off, just like a baby's has to so please just be patient and maybe get some nice mouthwash and try to eat soft food for a bit eh
Have a lovely day Cimmy
Hey Monkey.......sooooo ive got a baby mouth to go with my baby faceπ....I wished..... I will be patient Monkey...I've come this far ain't no going back for me NOPE NOPE NOPEππππππͺπͺπͺπͺπͺπͺ....Take care and thank you for your continuing supportπΉπΉ
I've been exactly the same - mouth ulcers, throat that feels as if I've swallowed several razor blades - it sucks! Still, we haven't given in! Go us!!!!!!
Yeahhhhhh Jaxter, lets flippin ''GO US'' gal Yippyyyyy Dippyyyyy Doooooo

Well done Jaxter, 12 weeks for you too, brilliantππΌπ
I'm delighted for ya and I see monkys given you good advice about it tooπ
Hope ya feel better soonπ
Hey jaxter........my mouth is soooo sore and my throat also feels like I've eaten glassπ.....it came as a bit of a shock because I really haven't had that many symptoms......but if a bit of pain and discomfort is the price we pay to be smoke free so be it......and your right we haven't given inπͺπͺπͺπͺπͺ whoop whoop yah....hope your better soon
It's difficult to figure out whether it's to do with quitting or if it's one of those nasty viruses doing the rounds - either way, I'm fed up with it now!! Still, no pain, no gain as they say! Get better soon x
I'm experiencing the same?! Weird, because most of my weird side effects happened and vanished within the first 2 weeks of quitting. I gargke warm salt water and suck on honey lemon cough drops. It does help.
Don't tell me this is what's headed my way next! Just when u thought it was safe to go out again!
Well done on 12 weeks Cimmie that's brilliant πππππππ½ππΏπ¬π§Β©β’

Woo hoo Cimmy, congratulations on 12 weeks quit, awesomeππΌππΌππΌππΌ
Just a little bump in the road, that's all. Be patient and honestly it will get easier. You're doing great and I had terrible problems with my mouth but it did pass and so will yours, chin up and keep goingπ
Good to hear from you Cimmie .. hang in there 'cause you are doing great ... and symptoms will improve soon.
Me too Im right there and I hate to be the bearer of bad news but better to know than not. I thought 12 weeks ( 3 months) would never come but at least the symptoms would be gone "NOT" apparently they can go on up to 6 months or longer. Hoping this wont be the case for either of us. I just wanted u to be forewarned and not get false hope. Just hang on knowing that it wont be for the rest of your life. It will come to an end Keep on fighting, Im trying too
Hey Bandit......Thank you for the warningπ₯π₯π₯.....we have gust gotta ride the storm I suppose, it is a bit of a downer though isn't itπ....and we will keep on supporting and helping each other....this is the only way forward......No pain No gain.....Mr Nic can kiss our Buttsππππͺπͺπͺ..a take care and have a good dayπΉ
It is a big downer for sure and a huge test of my will power but Im just doing one day at a time. That Allan Carr video really made me crave (huge) I guess Im not strong enough to watch stuff like that. Did u watch it yet and what was your opinion, he said good stuff but the burning ciggie made me Jones so bad.
I have to ask because Im a huge animal lover, is that your dog? Thats my baby in the pic, its such a tiny circle I have no idea how to fit a pic into it so I just got his face lol. His name is Bandit he is 5 yrs old a border collie something lol. spoiled rotten by me
Good for you on your 3 month journey. Me too and still have symptoms, gargle and swish around in your mouth warm water and salt it will help to heal your sore mouth. I did it like 3x a day when I had all my stitches and my mouthwas so sore and it made it feel better. I would have done it more but the dr said 3-4 times was enough. Too much would do the opposite, its good for sore throat so is a tsp or tblsp of honey, put it in the freezer then lick on it like a sucker it soothes a sore throat.
You r doing fantastic I think we shld pat ourselves on the shoulder for enduring this crap All I can say is there better be a light at the end of this never ending tunnel dont u think so???????
U got a rememdy for my zits and no sleep lol lol want to trade? and oh ya the bleepin headache that never ends its in the am, its in the pm its in the all-em lmao.
Oh ya what about your dog?
