we all go through different processes as part of quitting. Not everyone gets the cough so I wouldn't be too worried at all. I too haven't had a cough as yet.

Keep up the great quit :)

So sorry for you that you aren't coughing your lungs up lol!

Just consider that & the bleeding gums & the dizziness & the panic attacks are like the possible side effects of some medication. Just because some experience side effects, not everyone does. So, if you're coughing up crap from your lungs, that's good news, if not that's even betterer. Either way, you're not smoking & that's all that matters.

Congratulations on 36 days smoke free, well done and not everyone has the cough when they quit so try not to worry as you're doing really well :) :) x

I have never coughed on my quit journey, or hooped up " lumps" of stuff <shudder> so i guess we are all different hun x

I quit 6mths ago and never had the post smokers cough. I was hoping to be expectorating all those toxic poisons out of my lungs. I guess my body took other avenues. Still have cravings at night, and battle with exhaustion all the time.....

Keep up with what ur doing.......
