September marks 2 years non smoking. I was breathless and had no motivation. Yesterday i climbed Mount Snowdon and i walk at least 20 miles a week. Oh, and i don't smell like an ashtray and i have cash in my pocket

Wow, 2 years AND mount snowden AND walking 20 miles a week, you must be superwoman, CONGRATULATIONS x
Thank you. I could not have done it without the support on here. I'm not the fastest walker but, i enjoy the walks because i get to see the hidden places i'd normally drive by and the beautiful countryside. Joining a walking group was the best thing i did. They are so friendly and there are other tortoises like me. Now, if it was raining, i wouldn't go out but, the other Saturday i started a walk when it was raining cats and dogs. Afterwards i feel so good. I recommend it to anyone. There are walking groups all over the country, all it takes is one step. x
That's awesome to read! Well done you
Hey 1year is awesome so well done you !!! Tonight i had a visitor, someone i hadn't met before and sad to say the smell of cigarettes on her was so disgusting. I have a burner in the hallway and room with yankee tarts in and even they did not mask the smell. I thought, i hope i never smelled like that. I was actually embarrassed thinking how others must have perceived me. That thought alone makes me never want to touch a cigarette again. Keep up the good work x
