just want to say hi and look forward to being apart of a community that actually GETS IT and understands the tourment and strength that it rakes. Finding adequate support has been daunting to say the least. Does anyone have any resources or open to sharing what works for you that I may not have tried? I'm at a loss rn in my search for therapy/resources/tools that are most effective. Thank you in advance!

Hello and Welcome. What has helped me is having a good therapist and a good psychiatrist. Medication has helped with the nightmares and sleep issues. Then just taking baby steps. Not overwhelming myself by trying to do too much too soon. Having small successes and appreciating them rather than beating myself up for not doing more. I have found this site to be so very helpful. It really does make all the difference to talk to people who get it.
