My Brother spends time with a group of other young carers & they take him out to do activities and just generally spend time with one another for a break.
He's become a little star now and everybody wants to interview him!
This is the newspaper article from The Nottingham Post.
You and your brother are doing a great job of raising awareness of PSP. The Young Carers project sounds really good too.Doesn't matter what your age, there really isn't enough support for carers.
Hi Hannah, what a star he is. I am sure he has had to grow up quite quickly though. You are both doing such a great job in raising awareness of PSP...well done both of you
I read on your profile that you'd been going to counselling - i wonder if you could just give me some hints on what to expect..I'm down to see someone pretty soon and am a bit apprehensive about what to expect or how i might come across...I've had such an up and down summer trying to settle back here around mum and dad etc. feel like i just wouldn't know where to start trying to explain to someone new how i felt about it all. they might even think i've lost the plot...?! just miss my dad as once he was, as you can obviously relate to....
