Actually , I may have misled you .

It was the DST meeting which we had two months ago . Not a review .

I spent the whole of Xmas preparing for this .

Collating info , inviting professionals to the

meeting etc .

The Social Worker assessor seemed supportive

but the Nurse assessor tried to minimise

my husband’s needs .

Apparently , as he can do a thumbs up & down

for a yes & no , he has no problem with communication !

She didn’t even include him in the assessment

but I made sure I introduced him to her

as she was a guest in our home .

A bit of compassion goes a long way .

My husband deserves at least a modicum

of this .

it’s a complex system to navigate. Have you had the outcome of the DST?
