This is by far the most favorite activity I have done with my sweet Momma! Casting of our clasped hands — a forever embrace. If you’re able, I would highly recommend doing this. It took three of us, due to Moms rigidity— she was smiling from ear to ear as we did the reveal!

Beautiful. My daughter did exactly that about 15 years ago for her Masters exhibit. She had five sculptures from a pair of a small child's hands up to an older ladies hands. You have made an absolutely priceless memory. What an outstanding early Mother's day gift!

That is a lovely idea. I will speak to the daughters both of whom definitely did Art at school at some level. I guess you could then colour it and glaze it etc - not really my field!

How do you make a casting? What did you use? Did you have to keep it on your hands very long?
