yes, my dad used to have this - PSP is usually misdiagnosed as as Parkinson's in the beginning because of tremors but do mention this on your next doctor checkup

I will. Thank you.

Sadly, yes. I believe it is often part of the course. But, I agree with sammy that you should mention it to the doctor, although be prepared for medication to only modify it for a while.

Thinking of you. Sometimes it's just reassuring to know you are not alone in this.

Much love,

Juliet

My hubby has shaking in his right hand occasionally. He has been put on medication for Parkinson's, just started the full dose today. Back to Consultant on Feb. 17th. He doesn't think it is PSP as symptoms are not typical, hope he's right.

My right hand has tremors especially in the morning. My doctor prescribed Baclofen and it helps.

I notice more tremors in both hands in the evening. Meds help a little - both Baclofen and Levocarb.

Yes I see it quite a lot and also holding his right hand as if he is going to throw a cricket ball

Hello. Yes, since 2006 when it was occasional. For the last several years, shaking hands and arms are often a problem for my husband who, it's assumed, as CBD or MSA.

Thank you everyone. It helps to know if something is part of the PSP or not.

Yes, yes ...he can’t hold a anything in his left hand and only with help with his right one....he keeps trying to grab at anything and yesterday while drinking Ensure , he knocked it out Of my hand and it spilled all over ...his movements are tremor like and spastic....I keep praying for a quicker journey ...his negative progression is full blown this past week .....unable to speak, or walk with walker, totally incontinent, very confused, unable to follow simp,e directions, pulls his clothes off, choking and hallucinating and rambling...etc....hospital bed delivered yesterday, having an aide every am to help me....this progression has taken place in a 6 day period after a fall last week.... from being almost independent the night before falling......

I HATE PSP. 🥵😓😭

So sorry that the progression has happened almost over night. That’s got to be tough. I guess we never know with this disease what can happen and how quickly. It’s crazy. Thank you for sharing.
