Today we are introducing another member of the Helpline Team, Cathy Moughton.

“I joined the voluntary sector on returning to work after having my children and I find it very rewarding. I have worked in information and support services for various charities helping people with disabilities, their family and friends for over 25 years.

"I believe strongly that people need to be given the correct information to make informed decisions. On the PSPA Helpline, it is important to listen and provide information and support specific to the person calling and, in a way, they can understand. Often, it is just the listening ear that is so vital and for the person to be speaking to somebody who knows the conditions. I also really enjoy being involved with the Local Groups and getting out to meet the people we support when we can again.”

The Helpline is currently available from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday. If you would like to chat with someone in confidence, please call the team on 0300 0110 122 or email helpline@pspassociation.org.uk
