So, yea, I'm home now, resting after a little R&R at Grand River Hospital. Bad Thing - had a mild stroke last Wednesday - no permanent damage. Right side is a little weaker. Good Thing - more nursing and other medical staff now know more about PSP - progressive supranuclear palsy than ever before. Never one to miss an opportunity to raise awareness, my work continues. Still feel a little loopy, don't be offended if I don't respond quickly, or at all.

Tim

Sending you a big hug and hope you feel better soon. Well done for continuing to raise awareness- you have really motivated me and I am thinking of writing a book about the experience Steve and I had trying to get married as he was stuck in hospital. I can’t believe that he has been gone for over 2 years now and I am still finding it so hard. But then I read of your positivity and it is uplifting.Take care love Sarahxxx

Tim, scary stuff for sure! So happy to hear that you're home and recovering. Winter is a good time to sit inside, watch the snow fall and just get stronger!!

Speedy recovery my friend.

Poor you - as if you did not have enough to deal with. Still you are a tough lot - you who live in those blooming icy climes. (If we get more than a mild frost we all start pissing and crying down in the south of England. To be fair northern UK types have a bit more spunk about them!)Richard

There is always someone who has it worse than me. More than happy to share the wintery weather. Any takers?

I was thinking that it would be nice to live in a warm country with no cold winters. But the payback we realised is that those same places always have nasty things trying to bite or sting you to death. You can't win!

Tim, I'm sorry I missed this news - I don't come on as often as in the past... How are you feeling now? Still making progress? That must have been very scary!!
