It’s that time of year again

I just thought I would pop in as I haven’t been around for quite a while. I go through spells where it all gets on to of me, so I disappear for a bit, or just go into reading only mode.

But it’s time for the Christmas decorations to go up again, albeit a bit late this year, but first on the tree again was my little hummingbird 👍

As usual, a few tears after putting it on the tree, but all good now it’s fully decorated.

I hope everyone is as well as they can be given the year we’ve had, and has the best Christmas they can.

Love

Derek

I joined in 2018 and it took me awhile to learn my way around this site... everyone was so helpful and provided valuable information about PSP. Please don't hesitate to join in the conversations or ask questions. Sending hugs... Granni B

Great to hear from you Derek. Your hummingbird is beautiful, lovely tribute in remembering David. Wishing you as good a Christmas as you possibly can have and Blessed New Year. 🎄

Lots of love, Marion x

Ps. How is the running going 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Hi Marion,The runnings going OK. Been a bit on and off this year as I hate going out along and the continuous restrictions in Leicester since March have played havoc with being able to meet my club friends until recently when they changed the exercising rules.

But yes all good. Hopefully some races can happen again soon, I like the challenge!

Hope everything is good your end 👍

Was intending to spend 3 days at Christmas with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren but the Executive has cut it down to 1 day. Terrible times, but we have to keep safe.

Had to stop running as I chipped a bone in my foot but I'm hoping to restart in 2021.

Enjoy Christmas with your sister xx

So nice to hear from you again. This time of year is more difficult than others, there's no denying that. I hope it brings a smile or two and not just the tears.Hugs and prayers.

Good to hear from you. I too put a hummingbird in the front of the tree. Let’s hope we can have a get together in London in 2021 xx

Great to hear from you Derek. There are mixed emotions decorating the tree aren’t there. I had some lovely memories decorating mine, a few laughs and smiles and a tear or two in my eyes.Wishing you a Christmas where you can remember the good times.

Take care and keep safe.

Lovely to see your face appearing again, "Derek"! Yes it is that time of year again. As you might remember this is my bad time. This year, with all the nonsense going on, will I be able to see my daughter and grandson or not, it has been particularly tough. Hopefully now, bar anyone having to self isolate, we will get together. Seasonal greeting and wishing you a lot happier new year than this year!

Sending big hug and much love

Lots of love

Anne

Hi Anne,I really hope everything goes according to plan and you get to see everyone!

For me, it will be a very quiet Christmas, as I’m working the whole Christmas period apart from Christmas Day, but I’ll be spending that with my sister, as there are just the two of us on our side of the family now, so we’re bubbled up etc.

I’ve picked the right Christmas to be working, as hopefully next year will be more normal, and it won’t be my turn to work 😆

Let’s all make 2021 our year!

Hi Derek. Good to hear from you again. I'm struggling a bit this year - but hope to see the babies at Xmas. It's not easy at the best anyway is it ?Roll on 2021 and hope for normality and meeting again.

Happy Christmas Derek.

Love from Jean xx

Glad to hear from you Derek 😊Like you, I can get overwhelmed: in the earlier days of loss it seemed easier to stay in touch with the community. Now it keeps taking me back to that horrible year 💔 and I’m trying to practice positivity and move ahead...! Gah! No easy solution, that’s for sure.

Merry (as possible..!) Christmas everyone 💖⭐️
