In a similar vein to the other post about hummingbirds, I bought one of the hummingbirds from the PSPA website.
It now on my Christmas tree in a little memory of my David. It was the first decoration on the tree, and will be the last one off, and there starts a tradition...

I’ve bought some as well Derek. Most of my decorations have special memories and the hummingbirds, like for yours, will always hold a special memory of my darling Colin.
May you know peace and joy this Christmas Derek as you remember David and may 2019 be a good year for you.
Help...........I went to PSP association website and also to CURE PSP, scrolled though to the shop. I found cups, cards, etc but not hummingbird ornament.
Would you please let me know the precise website and then where to scroll.
It was in the shop on PSPA, the one for this site. I just had a look and it looks like it’s out of stock again. It’s been running out of stock regularly, and they only had 100 this time round.
Isn't it bizarre that such a beautiful little bird has such sinister implications for our loved ones? Since Rod died, my son, daughter and myself have had frequent visits from ladybirds. On a walk on the Downs shortly after he died a ladybird would not leave my son alone and indeed during his funeral service one flew off the flowers on his coffin and over our heads. At our daughter's wedding last week she called me from her room and said "mum, dad is here" and there was a ladybird sitting by her whilst she was having her hair done. It gave her such comfort. She said, "I'll be ok now mum." Now, I don't have a faith or any beliefs about life after death, but whether those ladybird appearances mean anything or not, it has promoted me to adopt the ladybird as a symbol of remembrance of the love of my life and the best dad ever. I have tree gifts for the three of us, a ladybird key ring that we can always carry with us. Anything that brings comfort cannot be wrong. Best wishes, Hils.
I'm a meanie this year Derek, haven't put a tree or any decorations up as I'm away at my son's for Christmas and just could find the enthusiasm to put decs up. However I am going to order one of these for next year and would like to get one for each of my sons too so that Bens memory is honoured each year as Christmas was always a special time for us as a family. Sending love and Christmas cheer at a difficult time.
