Oh, such a handsome chap. My pond is teeming with tadpoles so the potential for many handsome princes.
xx
Nice we have a few tadpoles left but lots have turned into froglets now so tiny and perfect
I can waste a heck of a lot of time keeping an eye on what’s going on in the pond. The heron is a nuisance and often drops by looking for a ready meal; even Millie my cat isn’t keen on seeing him off. I suspect that out of the hundreds of tadpoles in the pond, not too many make it to adulthood. I saw a newt again today and pleased that they are still in residence.

We had a pond at my childhood home in Pennsylvania. Warm summer nights we had all the windows open to cool things off. I used to love to listen to the frogs serenading us to sleep with their pond songs. One would sing a solo then the rest would chime in on the chorus. A favorite memory for me.
Great photo! My love of frogs is very apparent in & outside of my house. My boys & frogs have given me many humorous moments through the years. Sending hugs... Granni B
Thangs Granni B don’t think my girls ever brought frogs into the house lol x hugs Maggie x
