PSPA funded research update

Since the lockdown began, many medical researchers who also usually hold clinical posts such as neurologists have been redeployed to the NHS to help fight COVID-19.

In relation to PSPA funded research, this redeployment means the data collection phase of the PSPA funded PROSPECT study, which requires participants to attend clinics, has been put on hold.

University-based non-medical researchers such as neuroscientists, data analysts, and purely academic researchers will continue their work, focusing their efforts on data collation, analysis and report writing.

If you have any concerns about the research you are participating in, please get in touch with your consultant or research study lead. For any other research-related questions, please email research@pspassociation.org.uk
