17th April - What am awesome day...

Yesterday was just the most amazing special day - it would have been my lovely Steve’s 60th Birthday and as many of you know on here it is always difficult to deal with those days. But my amazing beautiful daughter gave birth to my first grandchild - a beautiful baby girl called Bella. So now I will never feel sad on this day again and when I did my Disaronno (his favourite tipple) toast to Steve it was also to my gorgeous little grand daughter. I haven’t been able to hold her yet as they are still in hospital but will be coming home to me and Emily’s boyfriend Luke in a few days as they live with me. I thought it would be nice to share some happy positivity in these difficult times. Love to you all xxx

What a gorgeous bundle of joy. My grandson was born on Steve's birthday as well. It definitely takes away that awful dread of the date coming up. Now I am busy thinking what can I buy James.

How delightful a beautiful baby .My own grandchildren are all grown up the youngest being 16 now and the oldest 25 and 3 more in between but I remember how wonderful it was when they were born and its been wonderful watching them grow up enjoy every moment they grow so fast xxx
