Loving vibes received, thank you. Welcome to the site. It's a brilliant site but how I wish it didn't have to exist, however, I would never have 'met' all the lovely folk who contribute if it didn't. Now there is another one, you. I'm so sorry about your mum but she is truly blessed to have someone like you to love her. Please keep in touch.
Welcome Mary to this wonderful site where you will receive great advice and rant and scream as much as you like, we all do! I'm very sorry to hear about your dear mum, please tell us more about her, are you in the uk? What help if any are you receiving because there is a lot of help you can get! Sending you big hugs x
Welcome, and I am sorry for your mother's diagnosis. It's very hard, but don't be too sad. PSP is bad, but it isn't the worst thing. We get to be with our loved ones. At least with PSP, for most of us - not all, sadly - we have opportunities to share tenderness and love. That is not a small thing. And this community is wonderful. Hang on. Love, Easterncedar
Welcome to the best site on the Web, without it, I dread to think the state I would be in. Or where my husband would be.
We all share the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. It's a wonderful place to let off steam, share a nagging worry or ask for some practical advice. Someone some where, will be going through exactly the same as you, or able to offer some advice where to get help and support. Let us know where you are in the world, then the right people will be able to give the relevant help.
Most of all, you have just found yourself a whole new family, that you didn't know existed. People who will listen, pick you up, dust you down and set you off in the right direction. We all care and support each other in this dreadful journey that only PSP knows the way!
Tell us more about your Mum and yourself, the help and support you have in place. We can't help you cure your Mum, but we can help in making life has difficult as possible for PSP. We all hate it with a vengeance and if there a chance for us to give it a bloody nose, we are all there with our boxing gloves on.
