These have been waiting to pop. They did today. They are about a month ahead of time. I dread what summer will be this year. We have been getting off easy the last few years with lots of rain and only about 6 weeks of the inferno. We are about due for a long hot dry summer.

They have to put a smile on your face. Lovely colours.

Beautiful I live in Maryland and my little flowers are popping out too.
So beautiful. That’s the thing I miss the most about living in the northern states—the lovely spring flowers! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful and a reminder that spring is coming!
I think it is here. If it snows it will be a shock. We only had one small wintery mix storm with 2 inches of accumulation this year. Normal is 19 inches. Lots of rain instead of snow.

A friend in Massachusetts recently sent me a picture of her butterfly bush getting buds.
So pretty! I feel like our spring is early here too, by about six weeks. We've been having our usual late March winds in early February this year. I, too, fear a long hot summer.
Take care,
Pat
They are so pretty and beautiful colour. xx
