PSP information cards

I ran across some very old posts mentioning PSP cards. Apparently there are little cards made that explain PSP in a nutshell to hand out when needed, rather than try to explain all this to doctors or others.

Does anyone out there know about this and how we go about getting some of these?

Thank you friends!

Contact CurePSP.org and they can help you get information that you can hand to Dr's.

I received my card from cure PSP web site along with other information on PSP . for a small donation. I use the card when I go to a dr. who doesn.t know anything about the illness.

David used to wear at his own request a laminated card around his neck which read something like:

My name is David, I suffer from PSP. I cannot speak, stand, balance, swallow or walk.

In emergency contact Derek on xxx

My GP is Doctor x on xxxxx

Thank you.

It was his call, and we didn’t know there was an official card, but somehow this gave him a bit better sense of security, especially when he was in the home when I was away on respite leave.

I would think it would give him a sense of security. I would be terrible to not be able to communicate and not have others know your situation.
