Travel insurance : Hi new to site , anyone... - PSP Association
Travel insurance
Hi
Welcome.
I would try calling the PSP Assoc. and Age Concern.
Someone else here might come back with something though.
Best to you
Kevin
Hi Rocky
If you get travel insurance through your bank then just go through the medical screening and pay extra for the cover, this is less expensive that anywhere else all other conditions are covered. Otherwise try the Post Office or All Clear Travel Insurance (they are a broker and will give you different quotes). Good luck.
Dear Rocky
For years we used Staysure “recommended” by PSPA they specialise in pre existing conditions PSP is even in their drop down menu, a medical assessor will call for a quick chat . We found them helpful and reasonable. All insurance premiums of course jump up with age too.
Hope you have lovely plans
Love Tippy
We always used Staysure as well. Never had to claim, so can't say how good they are, but we were covered for PSP, plus Steve's stroke and other conditions, acceptable price as well. Be careful where you go though, refused us for the USA and later, Spain!
Make sure you ask for special assistance for the plane, even if a wheel chair is not really needed. The service is brilliant. I am surprised "Joe public" are not abusing yet!
Sorry, I have just re-read that you wanted insurance for UK holidays. Don't know about that, but I thought I would post my reply for future reference anyway.
Enjoy your holiday.
Lots of love
Anne
Hello there
We used Staysure a few years ago. They were more concerned with my health issues than Chris' PSP. But very helpful nevertheless.
Hope this helps and have a good holiday.
Anne

All Clear Insurance covered PSP for us this year. Hope you get sorted and have a great holiday. Lots of love Nanny857xx
