Thanks all. Bill was so anxious I called 111. Paramedics great. I need to talk to nurse specialist as to what I might expect in early days. So difficult as everyone says no one seems the same at all.

Good for you! The ambulance service in our part of the world know very little about PSP, CBD, etc on the whole.

When I called ambo for my hubby at time when he had lost control of back muscle and could not sit unaided, we had to wait for ages while I answered questions on hubby's behalf. They came 3 hours later and made him walk to the ambulance! I was not impressed! He never made it home again.

Good to hear Paramedics we’re helpful. My hubby was referred to a Neuro Psychiatrist she was really helpful-she organised counselling, prescribed antidepressants, later antiPsychotic s and helped with sleep management. All of these things helped the anxiety and aggression.

There is help available so make demands on your GP and do not be fobbed off.

PSPA also do really helpful information leaflets on cognitive changes for healthcare professionals and families.

Everyone is different. There are more than 15 varieties and I think probably more. Just be observant and write things down to discuss with doctor.
