Hello to everyone, well it has been 4 months since I lost my sweet momma to psp! I still follow this sight often, it just amazes me how many have now gone and how many new ones have came!! Saddens my heart for everyone!

So to get to my point of posting..... I have been doing some research trying to help a person that I know on an issue that they are having ( nothing to do with psp ) but in the process, I came across some interesting things! MANGANESE.... has any one ever checked into this ? My understanding is high levels of manganese in the body can and does cause Parkinsoniam like symptoms. Check into this please, just in case, do your own research and find out all that you can. If my mom was still here, I would have her levels tested tomorrow!!! Can’t wait to hear from you !

Love, Alli

One of the first things we were asked by our neurologist in 2016 was if Ruth had had any exposure to manganese. So there is a clear link. But I think it is a pretty rare chemical so I cannot think where she could have come across it.
