Tomorrow is the first anniversary of my Dad’s funeral. He died on 4.12.17. from PSP and it will be the last of many ‘firsts’. By strange coincidence the sale of his and Mum’s old home completes this week too, it is the end of an era.
The past year has gone in the blink of an eye and feels surreal. We have spent it both moving Mum into her new bungalow and then taking care of her after she had a heart attack in October.
It has taken us a whole year to clear Dad’s garage and the final item was a metal working lathe which we sold and were able to donate £1250 to the PSPA in his memory.
There is life after PSP but not as we once knew it. May I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Love Ruth x

Ruth you have had a year of life's big challenges. Hope your mom is settling into her new home & doing ok after her heart attach... l know none of it is easy.
It was so sweet of you to donate to P S P in your dad's memory ... hope they find that elusive cure soon. Your dad's garage sounds like my husband's sacred scary tool shop... l used to park my car in there but no more. So l can say "Job Well Done Ruth!"
Sending gentle hugs to you & your mom ... Granni B
