I am heartbroken to report that our father died on March 30 from PSP complications. He was diagnosed in December 2018 but experienced minor symptoms years earlier.
What a horrible disease. It took away so many of our dad’s wonderful and unique qualities. His smile and sense of humor remained until his last days. We are blessed he is no longer suffering but we miss him terribly.
I have not posted before but have been actively reading all the questions and advice from all those suffering. I’m so grateful for all of you who share your stories. Thank you for the community!

So sorry for the loss of your dad, he is now at peace, no longer in the grasp of PSP. Thank you for sharing the lovely photo of him with his grandchildren. He has a lovely smile.
Your dad looks happy surrounded by his grandchildren. How long ago was this picture taken? I hope that you have many fond memories of occasions together, such as this beautiful photo. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Sorry to hear that you have lost your Dad to PSP! He was obviously loved by you and his wider family, that is such a warm and happy family photo. Hold on to the good memories you have of him.
Your beautiful photo speaks a thousand words - I see a close and very loving family. Tough days ahead for you all, the pain of grief keeps popping up just went you don't expect it , so many triggers. Keep this photo where you can see it - the tears will flow along with the smiles. It's a bit like the sun on raindrops resulting in a rainbow - most of us do find that 'somewhere over that rainbow, skies really are blue.'
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The photo of him with his grandchildren I’d especially touching to me as you can see their love for him. My grandchildren miss their Papa so much.
