Wishing you a better day today and a bike ride with Jamon by the river
I've got a realy nice bottle of white Rioja in the fridge... But the Jamon Iberica was finished a couple of months ago They would have been so good together!
Just wishing you a good day.
Hugs

This weekend the grandchildren have come to visit us and the bicycle weighs considerably less ... but it still allows for some excursions !!
Put the bottle of white wine in the fridge (7 to 9ºC) and run to the store to buy 250 g. of Serrano ham from Teruel.
Take the opportunity to take a picture with the phone of the Rioja red wine that you see on the shelves and I will give you some modest indications. Wine is one of my hoobies.
Don't be embarrassed to say its a poor wine... Wine is not one of my areas of knowledge!
Fantastic - family gatherings and food is what the world is all about
Ah, no - the Serano here is not so good unless bought from a Jamon dealer or rare quality delicatessans... I bought my Iberica from a Spanish importer... He even helped me pick the farm it came from... One of the farmers still making it the old fashioned way without Nitrites and with the proper period in the fields eating acorns... My bank balance took a dip! I take food seriously lol
Lucky you. Can’t drink anymore - one sip makes my legs even wobblier - Just have to make do with a sniff! It’s the thing I miss most especially as the weather is so lovely-used to sit and contemplate in the garden whilst watching the birds.
Can sit in garden but no booze! Also sun makes me very hot in no time so about 10 mins and I need to go indoors. It also distresses me that I can’t potter- not used to all this sitting around.
My legs often don't walk correctly due to an old spinal injury which is coming to the fore as I get older... on cold days I look like I've had two bottles!
I do hope you can get into the garden to contemplate.
