It is with a heavy heart I wish to inform you that my dear husband passed away peacefully on the 9th April 2016 He endured all the pain of not being able to speak, then later on his ability to write and then his ability not to walk/or use his hands - he was a brave and patient man. Just wanted to thank you all for all the information I got from you all that inspired me to go on and see him daily. Keep up the good work and the spirits of all. It was indeed nice to read all the different articles each one was going through. So now be strong and love the person each day May our Lord bless each one of you for your words of wisdom when I was down. Thank you all and may you all gain strength and courage at times of despair. So goodbye and wishing all of you peace and love.
So sorry to hear the news! PSP is a hideous thing to endure, the loss of independence is bad enough loss of ability to write not much better, the loss of speech more than anyone should bear. He is in a better place now. Take care of yourself. Love xxx
I am sorry to hear your news but now is the time to start looking after yourself remember and cherish the good memories but let go (I know not easy) the bad times.
Very sorry to hear that your husband has passed away, at last free from this evil disease.
Thank you very much for your kind words, everyone of us, on this terrible journey, gets the much needed support from this site.
Now is time for you to use that support and strength on yourself. Grieve for your husband in the only way there is, YOUR WAY,! Use that strength that you had caring for him, on yourself! This is the final battle with PSP, make sure you win this one!
So very sorry. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs.
