Nanna had a lovely send off

My nans funeral was last Wednesday. Even though it was heart breaking, it was truly a day to celebrate her life.

She had music from westlife-raise me up and Jennifer rush power of love.

Myself and her brother had the honour of eulogies. , I promised her I would find the strength and I did.

The whole church was full and she was buried with her son who she lost 50 years ago.

I then slept at my grandads house with him and we talked for hours about her. It was lovely!

That's a good way to do it. There is no way I could have stood and talked at Davids funeral, I just wouldn't have had the inner strength so very well done, you can feel proud of that.

I bet you really enjoyed spending the time with your grandad as well, all this memories to relive!

Keira well done for being able to talk at your Nan's funeral. Not an easy thing to do.

I am so glad everything went well. I am really pleased that you stayed with your Grandad too. He is going to feel so lost without your Nan.

Take care and remember the good times.

What a beautiful celebration and precious time with your Grandad to share your memories and help each other on such a difficult day.

Be gentle and kind to yourself as you now go forwards xxx

Thank you everyone.

It's hard when my Grandad hates the fuss! If I ask him to come around or go for a walk, he tells me to stop fussing and that he's okay.

I've managed to persuade him to watch the football tomorrow night even though the main thing is making him have a good meal!

Hard road ahead I can imagine but we'll get there hopefully xx
