My brother was diagnosed 2014, actually symptoms 2-3 years prior he has rapidly declined since December, I have taken pictures of him threw out this ordeal, amazing such a change every few months, the only thing I did not do is record his voice just seems he got to the point where now he does not talk at all, I wish I would have done that, just to hear is voice again. Just thought I would mention this as your loved ones who are still talking you could record him talking. So sad. Nettie

I know . I recorded B's voice once for therapeutic purposes....I still have it on my phone....he just mumbles but its him....
Your post reminds me i don't have a recording either. Was also hard to find a recent picture as he usually made a funny face when I tried!

Jen it might not be a bad thing that you haven't got lots of recent pictures. I had to take down photo's of my husband taken 2-3 years ago. One was taken last October. The last one ever taken and he looks so ill. It was so upsetting as I could see the change in him.
So now I just have happy photos of him on show and it is much better. I will try to remember the happy times rather than the sad ones.

Got a lovely surprise the other day! Took the memory card out of my camera and then checked for pictures. My lovely J stared out at me! No smile as usual. Next one was smiling as I had chided him for not doing so! Bit soppy but very typical!
The camera was his last Xmas present to me! Brings back happy memories each time I check to see he is still there!

I recorded my mum's voice and emailed it to myself so it's safe. It was in the very late stage, so very little is said just a few words, but it's Mum.
I'm so sorry I never even thought of mentioning it on the forum. Everything happens so fast.
Oh dear. I never thought to record gers voice and now its gone so too late. Few tears now. I do have lots of photos cos if anyone calls i do make a point of asking them to sit with ger and get a quick pic. Memories. Very precious.

W's voice is getting very low and hard to make out what he is saying. Thanks for your advice, I will make that recording. Xx
This makes heart her for you; this has been a fear of mine. My mom has become very quiet, and struggles finding her words - she has been diagnosed with CBD ... prayers for you and your brother.
