Dry Eyes and Mouth

Hubby in advanced stages of PSP and has been prescribed Hypromellose for eyes and Glandosane for mouth. Does anyone have experience of these items working. Thanks. Jx

Sorry, I don't know these things, but I did get for him a prescription for special lubricating eyedrops - maybe with prednisone? - and my guy often asked for Biotene mouthwash when his medicine was making his mouth too dry. Fish oil capsules, swallowed, are truly very good for dry eye as well. I use them myself sometimes. The dryness can be very uncomfortable. I hope the treatments work for your husband. My mum has been using the eye ones for a while and they have really helped with the dry red eyes. She also uses a warm damp face cloth over them after

Many thanks good to know that something may work in this maze of problems. I do bathe the eyes with a mild solution of baby shampoo as advised by the OT but doesn't always work.
