Gosh what a mad 24 hours. Got a phone call yesterday from the carers (didn't know we had any) to say DC was coming home! Hospital didn't bother to let me know. Fun with ambulance men pondering how to get him in the house, funny they got him out no trouble! Then carers arrived. I have to say we have had 4 visits and they are all excellent, friendly and very caring. It is do good to have DC home after 7weeks. I guess it will take a little while to adjust. Hoist actually came today yeah!!
Love to all

Good heavens! A good thing you hadn't decided to wander off on vacation for a few days! Lovely that he is home and wonderful that the carers are caring! I'm very happy for you Tillyhugs! I hope you have a lovely spring now that you are together again. Love and peace, Ec
Tillyhugs, how odd that they didn't tell you all was in place? Oh well at least you have him home? Glad the carers are nice. Good luck for the next few weeks.
So now comes yet a new normal. I hope adjustment is good and DC feels comfort being home and that your carers will do what is needed to make life doable...Goodluck with the hoist
