A taste of Spring
Lovely George what a lovely day today, makes you feel like carrying on, had such a bad night last night, feel like I am walking on air. My week holiday is a thing of the past xxxx
Oh god Yvonne what's happened? X
Sorry to hear that, Yvonne.
Hope you can hold on to the memories !!!
Love, Jean xx
Memories seems like ages ago, feeling tired and stressed, he has been coughing, he passed out a few times, very frightening xxxx
Big hug, Yvonne.
Love from Jean x
Thank you Jean, how you doing? Hugs back to you xxxx
Struggling a bit, although Chris is not as far along as George. He is at least sleeping through the night now. I get a wet bed in the morning because he takes his convene off. That irritates me but I know the worst thing is the broken nights.
This site makes me aware of how much worse it will get !!
xxxx
as beautiful as ever
Beautiful thx for sharing Georgepa x
Isn't that a glorious sight! I love the snowdrops that appear here so quickly after the snow melts away, although we have nothing like that sort of display. Still, they seem miraculous, gathered in little shy groups, suddenly up and blooming as if conjured by a magician. Mind you, we are weeks from that. We have feet of snow everywhere, six-foot drifts in places. Even so, the red maple twigs and osier dogwoods are beginning to deepen in color, very obvious against the white background, so spring is thinking of coming here, too! Thanks for the foretaste, George!
Beautiful x
How good to see Spring is here. I haven't seen many snowdrops yet but I love them. Always remind me of my mother.
xx
Pretty, I wish I could send you a picture of the Northeast's snowdrops...
Down hear in the south we are having a taste of early summer windows open crickets in the house allergies...good times....
Your beautiful writing always puts a smile on my face and believe me there's not a lot to smile about at the moment. Thank you George XX
That's lovely George. Not long now and it will all be primroses. Can V see them or is it too difficult now?
x
Primroses and daffodils already out-not full on yet but certainly showing .You are right V finds it difficult to really focus on anything even if I hold and direct her head .So I just tell her about them but she doesn't really respond .I have deep-seated feeling that this will probably be our last spring so I will try and make the most of it for her ..
Lovely! Thank you Georgepa! X
Wild snowdrops, such a joy along with the bluebells later on. Our English hedgerows are a delight are you they GP at least that's something to smile about as I lay in Ben's bed, he's in his chair, am suffering 4th day of attack from novovirus, feel shocking but still have to do the essentials. Good job Ben likes tinned soup. xx
OMG Kate! How are you coping? That's got to be the worse thing. At least with the flu or something, you can get up and doing the caring bit. I still have scars from when I had a similar attack, looking after a brand new baby, 40 something years ago!!!
Hope you feel better soon.
Lots of love
Heady
Thanks Anne, called doc today and she prescribed something to try to stop the sickness, fingers crossed. Not a good way to loose weight! xxxx
